I know women don't want to look like a boxer, but jumping rope is incredible for toning your legs. And NO, you won't look like a boxer by doing them.

I recommend that you get a weighted jump rope to make it easier. Next, just jump rope for 1 minute at a time. Do this for a total of 5 minutes a day. I like to spread these out.

Actually, what I do is jump rope for 1 minute during tv commercials. You can get all 5 minutes done in 1 30-minute tv show.

3. Jump on a mini-trampoline

The gravity of jumping up and down work your legs great. If you have cellulite, this exercise will help clear out some of your blocked up lymph and smooth out the cellulite a little. It's not a cure for cellulite, but every little bit helps.

Regardless, this is my favorite exercise period. I don't like going to the gym, so this is my main exercise I do at home. And it gets my legs really toned. I jump on this during commercials too. In fact, just about all of my exercising is done during tv commercials.

Remember when you gained weight on your body? Basically, you put weight on all over your body but some parts started to get fat earlier than others. But eventually, you can see excess fat all over your body.

The same thing happens when you lose weight. You'll start to notice that you are losing fat in specific areas first, maybe the belly, and then the others will follow.

Basically, you cannot spot reduce the fat in your body. You cannot work a specific part of the body to reduce fat. This is mainly due to hormones, specifically estrogen. Since women mainly produce a lot more estrogen than men do, they tend to store more body fat in their lower body. And over time this can be really hard for someone to get rid of, especially when they are going through menopause, which is the majority of the population that I work with.


Before I show you 3 exercises that will help you lose weight on your thighs, understand that there are many exercises that can target this problem area. So if you read something in a magazine or see some exercises on t.v., feel free to try them or swap them out from this program.

Each exercise, I am going to require you to use dumbbells, if you don't have access to dumbbells, then just use your body weight.

For this program, I am going to utilize whats called mechanical drop sets. Basically, you perform the same exercise to failure (till you can't get any more reps) in your weakest position first. Then you move on to a stronger position within the exercise and so on until failure each time.
